Churchmead School is a mixed 11-18, over subscribed Church of England Secondary School with a growing Sixth Form, situated in the picturesque village of Datchet, Berkshire, close to Windsor.

The Weekend Lettings Assistant will report to the School Business Manager and will manage the out of hours/weekend sports lettings. This will be 2-4 hours per Saturday and Sunday according to fixtures. There may be the possibility of a job share (one person per day depending on applicant’s availability).
The main duties will include:
- Opening up of the school gates and toilets in time for the lettings
- Being on site and available for the whole hire period/being the main point of contact for the hirers
- Ensuring the school gates are securely alarmed and locked at the end of lettings
- Cleaning and re-stocking the toilets in the areas used
- Managing the club’s date schedule
- Being responsible for holding the relevant school keys
- Reporting any cancelled lettings or any concerns re. hirers to the School Business Manager
- Ensuring hirer’s hours are tracked correctly
- Completing a timesheet each week for hours worked
Previous experience of working in a school would be desirable, and being security aware is a must, along with the ability to work using own initiative.
