School Priorities September 2024

1. To develop new opportunities that celebrate life in all its fullness.

- Further improve our curriculum offer at GCSE and Sixth form

- To deliver a dynamic and vibrant sixth form provision

- To continue to develop an outstanding provision for reading across the school.

2. To ensure quality first teaching in all year groups

- To further develop teaching and learning and embed walk thru strategies, cold calling, say it again better and modelling

- Prioritise the learning for Pupil Premium and SEND students - Achieve 70% 4+, 50%+ 5+, 20%+ 7+ in all subjects with Improved outcomes in Science and further improvement in EBac

3. To ensure our school values and the principles of good behaviour are upheld and celebrated.

- To embed teacher checklist and expectations

- To develop the PRAISE approach to rewards

- Provide increased enrichment in music, sport, culture, outdoor education

4. To support leadership at all levels, staff, and students

- Develop training of all staff based on needs

- To provide an excellent programme of induction for all new staff

- To further develop student voice and school council

5. To plan for future growth; staffing, leadership, site development.

- To grow staffing capacity, teaching, support and leadership.

- To develop the site including student hub, and future buildings
