Our Year 9 Computer Science students visited the Cyrus One Data Centre in Slough last week.
They were set a challenge by the Managing Director and Project Managers to design the next data centre in Slough, working with £35 million of a £1 billion budget. The ideas they put forward genuinely impressed the entire team.
Among the group, Cash, Julia, and Tanveer stood out for their excellent presentation skills, the creativity of their ideas, their community sustainability plans, and their thoughtful measures to reduce negative environmental impact.
They represented themselves and the school exceptionally well.
